Advocacy for Older People (external link)
This service provides advocates for older people who are resident in a care home or in a community hospital. To use the service the indidual must be over 65, facing a time of uncertainty, conflict or change, unable to access relevant information, in conflict with family or others or are without family or friends who are able to assist them.
Airlie Cancer Care Group
Support group for recently diagnosed cancer patients and their families. Come along for an informal chat, cup of tea/coffee and a catch up with others. We have various organisation attend also and so far we have had Move More, Macmillan Nurses coming along to one of our sessions. We are holding these at present within Airlie Medical Practice, Ajax Way, Methil the last Monday of each month at 2.00 p.m.

Move More Fife (external link)
Move More Fife is a project that is funded by Macmillan and delivered by Fife Sports & Leisure Trust. It provides FREE physical activity programmes for anyone living with and beyond cancer or anyone affected by cancer. Research shows that moving more can help you become fit for surgery, aid you in the management of any treatment side effects, aid your recovery and risk of recurrence. We provide gentle movement, group exercise sessions, walks and community gardening sessions.

NHS Chronic Medication Service (external link)
The Chronic Medication Service (CMS) is an NHS service for patients with a long-term condition. It is available at pharmacies across Scotland. A long-term condition is a health problem that is likely to last longer than a year and needs ongoing medical care, like high blood pressure or diabetes. The service is voluntary. If you have a long-term condition, you can choose whether you want to register for it.

Now in our 3rd and final year, it is run by the charity Taymara for children dealing with the effects of serious chronic medical conditions, mainly between the ages 5 and 18.
