    ALBA (Active Living Becomes Achievable) is a physical activity intervention developed by the Scottish Association for Mental Health, which aims to help individuals experiencing poor physical or mental wellbeing to increase and maintain their physical activity levels. You will receive up to 16 weeks of free support on a one to one basis. You can be referred through the existing Exercise Referral Scheme managed by the Leisure Trust in Fife or a health professional working in partnership with ALBA.

    Our walks cater for people of all abilities and levels of fitness. “Low-level” day walks are perhaps of 7-10 miles, often coastal, canal or moorland walks around or over the many delightful lower hills in Fife and nearby. “High-level” day walks are often further afield, perhaps a couple of hours drive away, typically including a Munro or Corbett or two, with 8-12 miles of hillwalking taking perhaps 5-7 hours. Weekend trips have included Braemar, Torridon, Ullapool, Glen Sheil, Glen Affric, Arran and Skye, and we sometimes visit the Lake District in October.
