    Arden House provides day care to elderly and Dementia service users over 6 days per week. We also have a befriending service that allows our support worker to work 1:1 in the persons own home. Arden offers a varied programme of activities and light exercise all which help to stimulate the well being of the service users.   • BASE (Blind Activities, Support and Events)

    A Fife based charity supporting blind and visually impaired people. We aim to empower visually-impaired people (VIP) to pursue their life with dignity and respect. We promote access to recreation and leisure to improve the quality of life. We do this by enabling VIPs to participate in and enjoy leisure pursuits, by providing funding towards transport costs to events supported by BASE, by publishing a programme of events, by recruiting guides and providing access to training for guides.     Held on the last Thursday of the month from 7.30 p.m. - 10.30 p.m. Dance to a lively band playing Scottish & Irish music led by Bruce Lindsay.     The City of St Andrews Pipe Band provides tuition in piping and drumming (snare, tenor and bass) for all ages. New members are always welcome whenever it is possible to accommodate them.
